The GSC Game World company wanted to wait until the last moment of the year to surprise us with the first preview of STALKER 2 thanks to a teaser trailer published by IGN. Those responsible for this long-awaited sequel already warned months ago that at some point in 2020 they would leave us with more materials and in the end, by the hair, they have lived up to their words.
The video in question is not that it offers too many details, since it mainly focuses on showing us some of the sinister scenes and landscapes that we will go through in this sequel. The intention is that all of them come to convey a feeling of constant danger and uncertainty about what may happen.
The atmosphere that this immersive and horror FPS will be one of its strengths along with a story that is promised to have multiple endings . The plot will not be linear and it will be the players themselves who will determine what will end up happening with the decisions they make on the fly , which will affect events that take place in the short term and also at a global level.
STALKER 2 aims to be one of the great games that will end up seeing the light at some point in 2021 and will be developed with the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine. In the absence of knowing if more platforms will be confirmed, its launch will take place, at least, on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC.
