Offenbach – After a foretaste of spring, the winter weather in Germany is fighting its way forward again. According to the forecast by the German Weather Service (DWD), it will snow on Friday (02/11/22) especially in the south. In places it gets stormy.
First of all, the weather in Germany on Thursday (10.02.22) will be really spring-like again: in the south and extreme east you can enjoy sun and temperatures in the double-digit range. Otherwise it stays cooler at six to nine degrees, and it rains again and again. Some stormy westerly winds are expected above the low mountain ranges, as the DWD announced on Wednesday (February 9th, 2022) in Offenbach.

After winter has already found its way back into the USA, it is also returning to Germany: Heavy gusts of wind are then expected over the North Sea coast from early Friday morning (02/11/22). It will be stormy both in the north and in the east. During the course of the day the weather becomes friendlier again and the wind decreases significantly.
Snow is expected above all in the Alps: there it is snowing down into the valleys. Otherwise rain, snow or sleet showers are possible. “The low mountain ranges and Alps in particular will get a wintry face again,” explained DWD meteorologist Sonja Stöckle. During the day, the weather in Germany stays cool: it gets two to eight degrees cold, and there is a risk of ice in some places.
On Saturday (February 12, 2022) there was at least a small consolation: the weather in Germany is not getting any milder, but according to the DWD it will be bright to sunny and dry. At best, denser clouds will persist over the north and at the beginning of the Alps. (Monja Stolz with dpa material)
