The bombardment of revelations continues during the Summer Game Fest and never better said. The event directed by Geoff Keighley has revealed Metal Slug Tactics the title that will put us in front of Marco, Eri, Fio and Tarma as we solve missions in a strategic format.
Moving away from the classic shooter run of the franchise, this installment will come to PC via Steam from the hand of Dotemu and SNK , although it does not have a release date yet. We will be able to handle the classic Metal Slug weaponry taking advantage of the skill trees, the advantages and an adrenaline system that fuels the attack to outwit and demolish the flanks of the villains characteristic of the series.
The art is simply impressive, being able to enjoy a fluid animation that reminds us again why we love this franchise. The original soundtrack is made by Tee Lopes, who has worked for Sonic Mania or League of Legends .
Metal Slug Tactics is intended to be a respectful tribute to an all-time classic and an imaginative new way to celebrate the famous series. This is the franchise’s first foray into this genre and there will be bosses of all kinds who will make it really difficult for us.
