After turbulent days, relief is finally spreading in the palace: the Swedish royals have survived their corona infection.
Stockholm – To Sweden’s royal couple Carl XVI. Gustaf (75) and Silvia (78) as well as the crown princess couple Victoria (44) and Daniel (48) became quiet after the announcement of their corona disease. As reported by 24royal.de *, the foursome temporarily disappeared from the scene to fully concentrate on his recovery – with success!
Swedish royal family healthy again: Corona disease is over
The Swedish royal family posted the hoped-for sign of life on Instagram that marks the end of the compulsory break caused by the corona. King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia*, Crown Princess Victoria* and Prince Daniel* attended a digital get-together to mark the upcoming Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing. Prince Carl Philip (42), who last held the position alongside his wife Sofia (37), switched on from Villa Solbacken.
Both the monarch and the crown princess couple obviously survived their corona disease well, for Victoria and Daniel it was even the second infection *. When asked by “Svensk Damtidning”, press spokeswoman Margareta Thorgren revealed how the Swedish royals are currently doing. “They have fully recovered from their Covid infection. The king and prince Daniel had only mild symptoms, while the crown princess and queen had symptoms of a cold. So the operation continues and all four are back in action after their quarantine,” reports Thorgren.

Swedish royal family healthy again: safety first
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Swedish royal family* has kept many of their appointments from their desk at home, and in the coming weeks most of the appearances will only take place digitally, Thorgren confirmed to “Svensk Damtidning”.
