As of April 27, children will be able to go out, in a controlled manner and only up to 14 years of age. So at least for now the teenagers will have to stay home.

It is a reality that confinement begins to weigh, especially for those of us who have children. We are running out of ideas to keep children entertained, and it becomes increasingly difficult to telework as we keep our house ready and help our children with their homework.

We all know that many times the maternity scenes that we see reflected in the entertainment industry, can show an image that is not very close to reality. But in recent years, some series and movies have emerged that have been responsible for showing a more realistic vision.

We can all agree that the best place for a baby is the arms of its parents, because as we have commented previously in Babies and more, arms are a basic need of the baby, such as eating or sleeping.

The birth of a child is a momentous moment in the life of any woman, which will forever remain in her memory. But for many, this important event has crossed another moment that will go down in history: the quarantine due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus.

The extraordinary situation of confinement that we are experiencing is not easy, and even less for parents with children at home without being able to leave. In addition to teleworking, or having to go out to work forcibly in some cases, it is added that you have to take care of the house, the duties they have to do, keep them entertained and keep the morale of the family high.

We are living in an exceptional, unique time, and since we have never experienced something similar, we are responding to the doubts that arise as they arise. For example regarding the children of parents separated in times of quarantine during the state of alarm: Should custody be suspended? Can children be taken out to the street to change their address?

Something quite incredible was discovered a few years ago: Babies are born knowing the smell of their mothers thanks to amniotic fluid. They are born with a highly developed sense of smell precisely to ensure food, and that is why women are always recommended not to put perfumes or colognes on the chest or neck, so as not to mask their body odor.
