Take your kids fishing at Rainbow Ranch in Cumming, Georgia

Rainbow Ranch is a sure thing. If you want to introduce your kids to fishing, and you don’t want to spend a day on the lake hoping to catch something, Rainbow Ranch is the way to go. Located in Cumming, Rainbow Ranch has multiple ponds supplied by water from the Chattahoochee River and stocked with rainbow trout from hatcheries in North Georgia. No matter what, everyone can fish here!

You don’t need a fishing license, and you can borrow rods, reels, baits, and tackle for free. The fish costs $ 5.49 per pound, and you keep what you catch. To make your visit even more convenient, Rainbow Ranch will clean the fish for 10% of the bill and pack it in ice for $ 1.00.

They have picnic and grill areas on-site, and you can buy soft drinks if you’re thirsty. You can reserve the pavilion for up to 50 people for birthday parties and other events.

If you go early in the morning, you will probably catch your fish right away; Later in the day on a hot afternoon, you will have to work for it. Either way, you’ll come home with enough for a fried fish.
