More than 30 years have passed since the launch of Tetris and we still have a great time playing the game of placing blocks. One of its latest versions, Tetris Effect: Conected, has so far been exclusive to Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One , but will eventually reach other platforms.
As reported by Enhance, the developer behind the work, the game will be released at the end of July on PS4 and PC, via the Epic Games Store (these two are free) and Steam. For those who have not played this expansion, it is important to note that cooperative and competitive modes are included, both local and online.
In addition, cross-play will also be added, allowing us to enjoy games with users of other systems. On the other hand, a spectator mode will be enabled, with up to six players who will be able to interact through different emoticons.
A slow mode will also be added, to facilitate the task of placing the pieces, as well as the PAL speed , recreating the movement and speed of the NES version.
To test all these new features, an open beta will be available that will last from June 23 to July 5 . Mind you, no update is planned for PS5 or a patch for cross-progression between platforms.
