The beautiful surprise of a man to support his wife during childbirth, which has moved us

It is clear that parents are involved in the care of their children, even from the time they are in their mother’s belly. They take care of it and pamper it, they go together to the obstetrician check-ups, to the childbirth classes, they get excited about the ultrasounds of their baby, and they enjoy preparing the child’s room so that there is no lack of detail.

And of course they also help moms during labor. But Kendall Caver, from Atlanta (United States) added a plus to cheer up his wife after two days of childbirth: he turned the pages of a notebook, in which he reviewed some anecdotes of their life together. The goal: to reassure her and convince her that everything was going to be okay, despite having suffered a previous miscarriage: “In a few pushes you will be the most incredible mother our daughter has ever dreamed of.”

He shared the video on his Facebook page and the story moved thousands of users of the social network. Impossible not to do it!

His story has gone viral

Jasmine had been in the hospital for two days with contractions and was already very nervous and stressed. So her 29-year-old husband decided to cheer her on and show her how much he loved and supported her. While they waited for the happiest moment of their lives to come, the birth of their first daughter, he took out a notebook that included his love story.

While he reminded her every little bit, in writing, that he had to breathe and touched his wife’s belly with absolute sweetness, controlled by monitors, the pages were spoken by Kendall:

Do you remember when we first met?

Before the bills. Before our races.

We were just kids at school who gave each other a chance.

Over the years I have been your biggest fan.

I have laughed at the same jokes up to 10,000 times.

Like … What is the name of the bear that has no teeth?

A gummy bear.

Please stop telling me that joke.

When people ask me how we have come this far, I tell them with a lot of prayer and patience.

And a few difficult moments.

She beats me.

The night before our wedding we received news that we will never forget. we will forget.

We put ourselves to the test, but there is no test that we cannot pass together.

And after two years married, full of tests and a failed pregnancy, I would do it all again the same to know the indescribable happiness that I feel today.

You are the most impressive, courageous and wonderful woman I have ever known.

You are my best friend, my better half, and in just a few more pushes, you will be the most wonderful mother our daughter could ask for.

I love you.

After two days of waiting, Sofía Isabel was born, weighing 2,765 kilos and 50.8 cm: “a perfect girl”, as we have seen in the Facebook posts of the happy parents.

Numerous media have echoed this gift of love that has been shared more than 58,000 times on the happy father’s account and the video has more than 2,520,000 views.

The 10 Big Mistakes Parents Make When Trying to Apply Positive Parenting to Their...

Positive Discipline is an educational model that is gaining more and more popularity among families who want to educate their children in a respectful way, without yelling or punishment. There are hundreds of articles on positive parenting that we can find on the Internet and social networks, and some include tips and tools to apply it in our day to day.

"Don't talk to strangers": how to get this message across to kids without scaring...

There are children who are very sociable and who talk to everyone. Others who do not fear anything, or who are more innocent... which can also lead them to talk to anyone who approaches them.

The FOMO effect or "fear of missing out" in adolescence: this is how your...

The FOMO effect (Fear Of Missing Out) is defined as "the fear of missing something". And although it is a concept that has become relevant in recent years, it is nothing new. In the late 1990s, Dr. Dan Herman coined this term.

When your children pay more attention to Alexa than to you and you decide...

We live surrounded by technology and it is inevitable that this will be incorporated as one more tool in parenting. In addition to apps that help with things ranging from designing your baby's room to managing the calendar of children with separated parents, devices such as tablets, mobile phones or smart speakers are here to stay. Proof of this is the growing use of Alexa as a timer that children obey without question (or at least without protesting as much as their mother).

"You don't understand me": how to help adolescent children to be less dramatic and...

When they enter the stage of adolescence, there are many boys and girls who can become dramatic in situations that, for parents, do not have the same degree of importance. Thus, in day-to-day situations, they feel that the world is ending, or they live everything with great intensity.
