The before and after picture of a mother of quadruplets

A few months ago we shared the photo of Lindsay Hay with her quadruplets on the Babies and More Instagram account, a 1 in 700,000 chance of this happening.

A few days ago, she shared some photos on her Instagram account that added thousands of reactions: in one image you see the happy mother from New Jersey (United States) showing her belly in the third trimester of pregnancy and, in the other, holding her her four adorable babies.

And she continues to surprise us with pleasure, in each of her posts, where she shows us how her four babies “are thriving .”

At 30 weeks gestation

Lindsay tells in “Today” that after suffering multiple miscarriages, she could not believe her luck when she became pregnant with quadruplets.

The doctors wanted me not to go ahead with the four considering that “I am 1.75 meters tall and weighed about 45 kilos at the time. They told me my body couldn’t handle it.

But Lindsay showed them that it could be done and on July 23, 2019, she gave birth to Caiden Michael, Madison Grace, Lucas Willam and Grayson James.

They were born at 30 weeks’ gestation and had to spend 45 days in the NICU because they needed help to breathe. But her mother remembers those days as “uneventful.”

Along with the image that says it all, before and after, some emotional words that explain how happy he feels:

ENTRY AND DEPARTURE DAY! I carried these sweet babies inside for 30 weeks and 4 days and here they are 30 weeks and 4 days out! Full hands, full heart is an understatement!

They have surpassed all the expectations and dreams that I had imagined during my pregnancy and although time passes quickly, I know that the best is yet to come. Behind these babies I have been left with new marks, love handles and skin that cannot be seen, but they have also brought me renewed strength that I did not have before. We have been so blessed and I will never allow myself to take this life for granted. “

IN & OUT DAY I carried these sweet babies for 30 weeks and 4 days on the inside and here they are at 30 weeks and 4 days on the outside Full hands, full heart is an understatement They have surpassed every hope and dream I had envisioned during my pregnancy and even though time is passing quickly I know the best is yet to be. Behind these babies are new marks, rolls, and skin you cant see but they also came with new strengths I didnt have before either. We have been so BLESSED and I wont ever let myself take this life for granted. #strongasamother

Force of nature

Lindsay remembers the moment she took her pregnant photo last summer:

“I was very uncomfortable and it was almost impossible to stand, but I was very happy to have come this far in the pregnancy. I was ready to meet them.”

And even she is amazed at what she managed to do:

“Looking at the picture now, I wonder how ‘My little body did that ?!'”

In addition, he ensures that raising them is easier than what they show on television. He acknowledges that “I don’t stop, I always move and I don’t sleep much, but television makes it seem much more dramatic than it really is.”

“We have our moments, but it is not as difficult as people think.”

Some of the posts that we liked the most show the happiness that her family radiates, like this one with her husband and her eldest son, from just two weeks ago. They explain how they met and how they created their family and invite us to continue their adventure:

“We are the Hay family … and we have many children. 😂 We have seen a lot of new friends so we just wanted to welcome you and share a little about ourselves in case you are new.

In short, we met and then we had our first official date in a foreign country. We traveled Europe together that summer and then got engaged, switched continents (Syman is Australian and moved to America), got married and had our first child within a year.

After battling secondary infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, we took the hit of our lives and conceived #quaduplets and now we’re living our own version of happily ever after here in New Jersey, Hay style.

We try to keep it as real as possible around here, give hope and inspire, and we are excited to share our journey with you, also on YouTube. “

Hey, were the Hay fam… & we have a lot of kids. A bunch of new friends here so we just wanted to say welcome and share a little bit about us in case youre new. In a nutshell, we met once and then had our first official date in a foreign country, traveled around Europe together that summer, and were then engaged, switched continents (Syman is Australian and moved to America), got married, and had our first child all within a year when you know you know, right After battling secondary infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, we got the shock of our lives and conceived #quadruplets using follistim + timed intercourse (a fancy way of saying made at home with some help ) and now were living our own version of happily ever after here in New Jersey, hot mess Hay style. Bonus fact @syman_1 doesnt have a second daughter as this picture might suggest just a wife who is an entire foot shorter than him. We try to keep it as real as possible around here, give hope and inspire, and were excited to share our journey with you on the gram and on YouTube (link in bio) Since travel is such a huge part of our relationship, we think it would be cool for you to drop a comment below and let us know where youre from and when you started following along Thanks for joining the crazy.

We leave you some more endearing photos of this large family:

Positive Discipline is an educational model that is gaining more and more popularity among families who want to educate their children in a respectful way, without yelling or punishment. There are children who are very sociable and who talk to everyone. Others who do not fear anything, or who are more innocent... which can also lead them to talk to anyone who approaches them.

The FOMO effect (Fear Of Missing Out) is defined as "the fear of missing something". And although it is a concept that has become relevant in recent years, it is nothing new. In the late 1990s, Dr. Dan Herman coined this term.

We live surrounded by technology and it is inevitable that this will be incorporated as one more tool in parenting. In addition to apps that help with things ranging from designing your baby's room to managing the calendar of children with separated parents, devices such as tablets, mobile phones or smart speakers are here to stay. Proof of this is the growing use of Alexa as a timer that children obey without question (or at least without protesting as much as their mother).

When they enter the stage of adolescence, there are many boys and girls who can become dramatic in situations that, for parents, do not have the same degree of importance. Thus, in day-to-day situations, they feel that the world is ending, or they live everything with great intensity.
