The first three Final Fantasy reveal the release date for their remastered versions in July

Much to talk are giving these new versions of the classic Final Fantasy titles. Named collectively by Square Enix as Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, information about the release has trickled down, revealing first that they would arrive in July.

Finally it will be, but now we know the exact day for the first three installments, that is, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III . The trio of magical adventures will land on Steam and mobile devices on July 28 for a price of 11.99 euros, although right now they have a 20% discount.

In the description of the Steam file we are reminded that we are facing “a general update of the 2D pixelated graphics, including the unmistakable characters designed by Kazuko Shibuya .” The artist was responsible for the original designs and now contributes his bit.

The gameplay has also been improved, with a more modern interface and automatic combat options. In turn, the soundtrack has been revised by master Nobuo Uematsu . Extra content such as the Bestiary, the Gallery or the Music Player have also been added.

What is surprising is that the minimum and recommended requirements for the works have not been detailed , although we assume that any current system on PC will be able to move them without problems. Let’s remember that a day before, on July 27, both Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI will disappear from Steam and we can only acquire their new remastered editions.

It is unknown when those two versions will arrive along with Final Fantasy IV . Here are the links on Steam to buy the three games and with the reservation you get three songs and two images for you:

  • Final Fantasy for 9.59 euros (before 11.99 euros, 20% discount).
  • Final Fantasy II for 9.59 euros (before 11.99 euros, 20% discount).
  • Final Fantasy III for 14.39 euros (before 11.99 euros, 20% discount).
