The pandemic changed everyone’s life, from the way we work to the way our children receive their education. For some months, children from all over the world continued their classes from home, and although in some countries they have already resumed face-to-face classes, there are others who are still learning online.
This is the case of a little girl who unknowingly gave us one of the funniest videos of the year. Believing that his daughter was making the video just for fun while listening to music, a father decided to show his best dance moves , but the little girl had other plans and ended up sending him to her school.
Like thousands of children in the United States, Delaney continues her classes remotely, having to share evidence of her work at home to a special platform that her school uses, something she is already used to and is even capable of doing herself. .
According to her mother, in addition to submitting her work, her six-year-old daughter likes to send short videos to her teachers greeting them, wishing them good night, or just talking to them. Also, like many other children of this era, she sometimes starts experimenting with materials and pretends to make tutorial videos, but only for herself .
And just this, was what his father thought he was doing. Seeing that the little girl was playing music while playing with colored stickers on a sheet, the father assumed that Delaney was doing one of those private tutorials , so he decided to have fun for a while and start dancing and singing with a lot of enthusiasm.
She would never imagine that the video in question, to which Delaney’s two brothers (a baby and a boy older than her) would later incorporate, would be sent by her daughter to the school platform as one of her school papers .
It has been his mother, Jennifer Jones, who has noticed it when reviewing the homework submitted in the application and when she found that funny video, she decided to share the funny anecdote on her Facebook account:
I was reviewing Delaney’s Seesaw (school app), and she regularly sends videos to her teachers with good wishes, saying good night to them or just talking to them. Well … I found this as a video posted a few hours ago. I hope your teacher laughed as much as I did … How are your distance classes going?
To date, the video has more than 14 million views , becoming not only one of the most viral of the year, but also one of the funniest we have seen and that are perfect for us during a year as difficult as the one we have. Dyed.
In a later post, the mother comments that she is surprised by the virality of the video, which she originally posted to share with her friends , and delves a little deeper into the reasons why she shared it:
” This year has been very difficult, sad, stressful and emotional. But when I return home with these four the world stops. I remember how blessed I am and even on my worst days I have them to remind me of what life is all about. This video is a perfect representation of the wonderful dynamic families we can have when we are together (except mommy, who was working at the time). I love that that moment of joy and fun has been captured in its pure and honest way, and I love even more that other people have enjoyed it, “he says.
Personally, I consider it to be without a doubt one of the funniest videos of this year, but in addition to making me laugh until my belly hurts, I think it is a nice reminder that shows us that no matter how terrible the outside world may be We have the most important things that bring us the greatest joy at home .
