The Instagram video that inspires us to change our resolutions for the coming year

Every end of the year the famous “list of resolutions for the new year” returns to our minds. However, after these months of uncertainty, stress, juggling to get to everything (and despite this seeing that the list of “to-dos” continues to grow vertiginously), we have come across a truly inspiring video. If you identify with this situation, you definitely have to see it.

We definitely need to take a break . In all those happy lists we always put that we are going to work to improve the silhouette, be the perfect mother, daughter, wife and friend and have all the work finished just in time to pick up the children and play with them until their time. delicious and balanced dinner …

No, life is not perfect, we are not machines and the day has 24 hours, no matter how hard we try to find time where there is none . The mental load that mothers carry is usually exaggerated, and what this type of purpose does is increase it more.

Purpose for this new year: to be less demanding of myself

To take care, we have to take care of ourselves, and this year we should give more importance to our state and our well-being. It is not about sneaking an hour to the hairdresser to cut your hair because the ponytail falls off of its own weight. It is about being as aware of ourselves as we are of others.

This should be a year to reconnect with calm, to learn to prioritize, to delegate and to put on the list of purposes to remove the guilt of our daily feelings to make room for other more positive feelings , such as compassion and love towards ourselves.

That is why I have felt completely identified with this video. This year, I want to take care of myself, but above all that which is invisible to the eyes.

There are children who are very sociable and who talk to everyone. Others who do not fear anything, or who are more innocent... which can also lead them to talk to anyone who approaches them.

The FOMO effect (Fear Of Missing Out) is defined as "the fear of missing something". And although it is a concept that has become relevant in recent years, it is nothing new. In the late 1990s, Dr. Dan Herman coined this term.

When your children pay more attention to Alexa than to you and you decide...

We live surrounded by technology and it is inevitable that this will be incorporated as one more tool in parenting. In addition to apps that help with things ranging from designing your baby's room to managing the calendar of children with separated parents, devices such as tablets, mobile phones or smart speakers are here to stay. Proof of this is the growing use of Alexa as a timer that children obey without question (or at least without protesting as much as their mother).

"You don't understand me": how to help adolescent children to be less dramatic and...

When they enter the stage of adolescence, there are many boys and girls who can become dramatic in situations that, for parents, do not have the same degree of importance. Thus, in day-to-day situations, they feel that the world is ending, or they live everything with great intensity.
