Croatia has become in recent years an important tourist destination: a country with a great cultural and architectural legacy, exuberant nature, many kilometers of coastline and its typically Mediterranean climate are some of its main attractions. They call it the country of the thousand islands, although only about sixty are inhabited, and it has seven natural parks. In addition, it is one of the most biodiverse countries in Europe.
It borders Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro and, although the coast has a Mediterranean climate, with dry summers and mild winters, a more severe continental climate can also be found inland, as the Alps mountains Dinars act as a natural border between both environments.
In this gallery we invite you to take a photographic tour of some of the most spectacular landscapes of this attractive country.
