The researchers explain that the idea is that users eat a liquid diet but can breathe through their mouth and maintain their expression.
Invention of the 80s
Oddly enough, this intraoral device is not new. Already in the 80s, doctors and dentists tested a device to fix the jaw of patients who wanted to lose weight , especially in those cases in which they had no control over themselves when it was time to eat.
