The Rock shows suit and set from "Black Adam"

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is one of the highest grossing actors in history. Every movie that premieres does well at the box office, although most are far from being more than just entertainment. His character is himself an action hero on the same level as Arnold Schwarzenegger was in his day, but like the former governor of California he was something of a superhero with Conan the Barbarian, Johnson had never ventured with any film universe neither of DC nor of Marvel. However, Dwayne Johnson ultimately settled on DC and Black Adam. @Therock Little do we know about the production, more than what the actor is giving us through his social networks and finally, even if it is a photo in the dark, he has shown us his suit and the set of Black Adam. In the mysterious photo of the post, Johnson published the following text accompanying the image: “If you know the mythology of the comic, then you will know where his pain comes from. His rage. His wife and children murdered. His people brutally enslaved. He is not a superhero, but a champion. Champion of the poor and downcast. Champion of the people. And it is the most unstoppable force in the DC Universe ”. This is possibly one of the most serious characters of the actor’s career, because although his genre par excellence is action, most of his characters have a point far from drama, as if without taking the situations in which he finds himself excessively seriously. . @TherockThe Rock already warned at the beginning of the shoot that he would have to perform double in his training to be able to reach the goal he had set for himself to play Black Adam. But now is when he claims to be in the most complicated moment, that of maintaining a body that must remain that way at least for the months that the filming lasts. In the image of the set you can see the “size” in every sense that the production of the character will have, which for the actor is a childhood dream and hero. The film directed by the Spanish Jaume Collet-Serra is reaching the middle of the Filming and is expected for July 29, 2022, being the director’s second collaboration with the actor after the Disney park adaptation, Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt that will be released this summer.
