The Opel Rocks-e is small, highly manoeuvrable, electric and zero emissions . The Opel fire brigade in Rüsselsheim is already experiencing its versatility, with the red Opel Rocks-e just entering service in its department.
The smallest vehicle in the firefighting fleet is unique . However, its fire red color, its special signaling system, the front emergency lights and the emergency call numbers make its purpose clear. The Rocks-e is equipped with everything needed to service the Rüsselsheim factory premises. With plenty of space available under the passenger seat and in the footwell for tools, the zero-emission quadricycle is suitable for service in a plant that is 1.9 km2 in size.
With the agile Rocks-e, firefighters can quickly reach all corners of the enclosure and without emitting polluting emissions. Its autonomy of 75 kilometers (according to the WLTP cycle) is more than enough. Instead of parking the vehicle at the gate and walking the rest of the way through large buildings, as was the case previously, firefighters can drive inside thanks to the electric propulsion system.

The innovative Rocks-e is not only a stylish and affordable entry-level model into electric mobility for young people aged 15 and up2; It will soon also be available as a delivery vehicle under the name Opel Rocks-e Kargo.
