One of the most important innovations that new generation consoles have carried out has been to include hard drives with high speeds. They do not make us gain more frames per second, but they do minimize loading times, which translates into a better gaming experience .
And on PC, of course, the same thing happens; Although we can install the games on the usual HDD hard drives, it is becoming more and more common to do it on an SSD. And if it can be M.2 NVMe, better than better. Well, this Samsung model has just dropped to its historic minimum price, and we can get it for only 229.98 euros.
It is the Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVMe 1 TB , one of the black legs of this company in particular, and of the entire hard drive market in general. It usually has a higher price, but with the current discount it is again an option to take into account.
Among its main strengths, this Samsung SSD has great read and write speeds : 3,500 MB / s and 2,700 MB / s. Which, according to the brand, represents an improvement of approximately 30% compared to the previous generation. In other words: speeds more than enough for games, causing their load times to drop drastically.
Finally, and as we say, it is the model with 1 TB of capacity, something that allows us to install a multitude of titles on it . More and more, games take up a lot of space (as with Call of Duty: Warzone and its successive updates), so it doesn’t hurt to have as much space as possible. And 1 TB will be more than enough for most users.
