Telcel began the development of 5G in the country with the commercialization of these services in 18 cities in the country, for which Carlos Slim’s company will require an investment of 1.8 billion dollars.
The entities that will have 5G coverage in Mexico are Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Tijuana, Culiacán, Hermosillo, Mazatlán, Chihuahua, Durango, Ciudad Juárez, Torreón, Saltillo, León, Querétaro, San Luis PotosÃ, Puebla, Mérida and Toluca.
Telcel launched seven postpaid Telcel Plus 5G 5 plan offers for users, with rates ranging from 599 to 1,499 pesos. These are the plans:

Telcel Plus 5G 5.
With this plan, whose cost amounts to 599 pesos, consumers will have access to 14 GB and as well as social networks such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and Uber, in addition to unlimited messages and calls.
Telcel Plus 5G 6.
The option of 699 pesos offers the user 18 GB, social networks and unlimited calls and messages.
Telcel Plus 5G 7.
For 799 pesos Telcel will allow the user to have 22 GB, social networks and unlimited calls and messages.
Telcel Plus 5G 8.
This plan grants 26 GB, unlimited calls and messages, as well as access to social networks such as Whatsapp, Instagram and transport applications.
Telcel Plus 5G 9
.
For 999 pesos, consumers will be able to enjoy 32 GB per month, unlimited messages and calls, and social networks.
Telcel Plus 5G 12
.
This rate plan includes 45 MB, social networks, as well as unlimited calls and messages for 1,299 pesos per month.
Telcel Plus 5G 14.
It offers users 60 MB, unlimited social networks, calls and messages for 1,499 pesos.
For now, the prepaid scheme (recharges) is not contemplated, however, the company will look for options so that this segment also has access to the 5G network in the medium term.
