Back in 2018 Felipe Pepe, a Brazilian based in Tokyo, presented The CRPG Book , a project destined to serve as an encyclopedia of the world of RPG on PC. A complete review of the genre that has been updated little by little and that already has more than 500 illustrated pages .
The creation of this formidable review of the history of the RPG jumped a year ago from pdf to the real pages of the hand of Bitmap Books and today, with the intention of celebrating that it will be available very soon, it seems the perfect time to share it.
While the book is one of those gems that deserves a place on our bedside table for several weeks, and another on our favorite shelf for life (£ 30 with all the author’s profits earmarked for charity to help poor children in Brazil), the author has decided to continue sharing the updated pdf for free.
If you want to take a well-deserved look at it, to browse it and if you dare to get hold of it when it goes on sale at the beginning of May, you can read the free pdf from here or download it free of charge.
And if you want more, I recommend that you take a look at its author’s Drive. An overwhelming collection of more than 16,000 images of almost 600 RPGs that he took while writing the book. It has no waste.
