The minivan segment has shrunk after the arrival of the SUV trend, vehicles that also offer height, space and versatility. However, a minivan is very different from an SUV, they still have several features that make them unique and highly demanded among large and active families . And one of the latest models to hit the market is the eye-catching Hyundai Staria, available in 7- and 9-seater configurations and in two variants: Tecno and Style; the latter takes mobility to a higher level thanks to a series of enhanced functions and exclusive finishes for a more luxurious finish.
“We are delighted to introduce the Staria, which represents our latest efforts to lead the evolution of mobility and meet new needs as we adapt to new lifestyles. The Staria is a step forward in connecting us more closely with our surroundings.” so we can get more out of our everyday lives and do more for ourselves on the go,” Thomas Schemera , Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer, Hyundai Motor Company.
On the outside, the Staria evokes the aerodynamic shape of a spaceship, with a design inspired by the curve of light that illuminates the Earth’s horizon at sunrise when viewed from space. Its front end is enhanced by horizontal daytime running lights (DRL) and a position light that, in combination, stretch across the width of the vehicle and are complemented by a bold, wide grille with a unique design pattern. The series wheels are 18 inches throughout the range. The low beltline and large panoramic windows on the sides improve all-around visibility and provide a huge sense of openness. The Style version adds exclusive design details to provide a more luxurious look and feel. The side doors are sliding and automatically operated.
It is already on sale in Spain with the latest in connectivity and security systems as standard. Its 2.2 CRDi engine develops 177 hp and is associated with a state-of-the-art 8-speed automatic gearbox. It is offered with front-wheel drive or with Hyundai’s exclusive 4×4 HTRAC system.
