The winter was mainly gray in large parts of Germany. At the weekend it will be like spring for the first time. At the start of the week, however, the weather changed again.
Offenbach – Blue skies, sun and relatively mild temperatures – the German Weather Service (DWD) predicts the best weather for excursions this Sunday.
Stubborn clouds only persist near the North Sea, as the DWD predicted in Offenbach on Saturday. In the afternoon clouds will gather in the west and north-west and it will be windy.
According to the DWD, temperatures are rising to a spring-like 15 degrees in Breisgau. It’s cooler in the northeast, so it’s only 5 degrees on Rügen. According to the forecast, it will remain mild in the new week, with a tendency to be cloudy and windy.
Start of the week will be partly sunny again
On Monday, the east and south-east of Germany can once again look forward to sunshine, otherwise it will be cloudy and it will rain from time to time. The DWD predicts a mild 10 to 13 degrees. It stays cooler in most of Bavaria, in the low mountain ranges and on the North Sea. An intermediate high influence lets the sun shine out on Tuesday afternoon, temperatures range between 7 and 11 degrees. It’s 5 degrees cooler in the Alps and it’s snowing at first. According to the forecast, the snow line will rise rapidly.
It will continue to be mild at 10 to 15 degrees, and it will also be rainy and windy to stormy – how strong is not yet foreseeable. In any case, snow and frost would have bad cards with the weather conditions in the lowlands, explained DWD meteorologist Markus Bösel. dpa
