With a population of almost 2 million, a rich cultural scene, and a lively and quite gay community of gays and lesbians, Austria’s capital city Vienna is one of the top destinations in central Europe year-round, and is a place Especially lovely to visit during Vienna Gay Pride, which runs for a week in mid to late June. This year’s dates are June 14 to June 18, 2016.
Traditionally, the main components of Vienna Gay Pride are the Pride Village , which is held in the very prominent and central Town Hall Square, or Wiener Rathausplatz, during the five days of Pride, starting on Tuesday, June 14 (changes may apply). at Pride Village this year – check the Pride website for updates).
