Weather: Warm weekend in October – sun brings golden autumn days
After the “low point of the current week” on Wednesday (October 6th, 2021) with a lot of rain and wind, it should be “friendly and warm” for a few days from Thursday (October 7th, 2021), promises graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung. It’s getting nicer and drier. “Best autumn weather” is brewing for this weekend. After fog or mist in the morning, there will be sunshine and “golden October weather” from Friday to Monday. The maximum temperature values are then around 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.

But the comeback of the golden autumn will not last long. It should be fresh again from the middle of next week. Even at night it is anything but warm on the otherwise summery weekend. For Sunday morning, ground frost is looming in the middle and south of Germany. In many places, the temperatures are then below five degrees Celsius. Air frost is also possible.
Weather: Cold autumn nights in October – the first snow could also fall
“That would be the coldest morning since the end of May on Sunday morning,” warns weather expert Jung. “The winter, the cold season, is casting its shadows ahead.” The cloudless nights will be really cold at the weekend, according to the forecast – despite the sun and high temperatures during the day.
