What is the largest winery in the world?

It is called Milestii Mici and it is 20 kilometers from Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. The winery was founded in 1969, when the country was part of the Soviet Union, and is made up of a gigantic complex of underground galleries 85 meters deep and 250 kilometers long! , of which "only" 60 kilometers are currently in use.

It is, in short, a true underground city. Milestii Mici houses the largest wine show in the world, the so-called Golden Collection, made up of two million bottles. 70% of the stored wines are red; 20% white; and the remaining 10%, sweets. The galleries are so spacious that they can be traveled by car, something recommended if one does not want to get lost or exhausted . The conditions for the conservation of the wine are optimal: the walls are covered with limestone and there is a constant humidity of 85% -95% and a temperature of 12 ºC to 14 ºC throughout the year.
