A prude is called someone who pretends to be humble, waiting for the moment to come to fulfill his purposes ; who is easily scandalized by the customs or acts of others; or to the one who shows an exaggerated morality or virtue , which he is far from having.
In some areas, mojo was a traditional way of naming the cat , so prude is like calling someone a cat doubly , alluding to the two opposite sides of the cat's character: on the one hand, its soft, modest and fearful ways , and on the other, his devious and treacherous character, capable of attacking when no one expects him.
Probably the one who pretended the cuddles and cuddles of the pussycat to then release the claw to the hand that caresses him would be called mojo. But when this word was no longer understood as a synonym for cat, it was necessary to add the most common one and thus he was able to form a prudish.
Another curious word is pitimini. It comes from the French terms petit –pequeño– and menu –menudo–, and is a voice used in the adverbial phrase “de pitiminí” with the meaning of little importance.
This construction is also often used to refer to people who are extremely delicate , affected, picky, or downright nerdy. On the other hand, in botany there is a variety of climbing stems rose that blooms forming bouquets of tiny roses, and which is precisely known as rose or pitimini flower, due to its size and delicacy.
