When that (exhausted) skateboard from Silent Hill still resonates amid the theories of Abandoned, Konami has just surprised us with a new video game of its own. It’s called CrimeSight and you can now sign up for its closed beta.
But what exactly is it about? We are facing a game of deduction where it will be necessary to discover who the murderer is. Or rather, who will be the murderer, because the future murder will have to be prevented and for this the possible victim will have to be deduced as well. A bit like The Minority Report by Philip K. Dick .
On the one hand, the players will work with the help of an AI named Sherlock to find out who the murderer is, supported by another AI known as Moriarty . And to curl the loop, there will be a traitor among the players , to follow the fashion imposed by that social phenomenon called Among Us that swept in 2020.
It does not yet have a release date on Steam, but we can sign up for its closed beta following these requirements, which will basically consist of following the official Twitter account and making pertinent retweets, and connecting to your Discord server reacting with a certain emoji in your post. The lucky ones will be randomly selected to participate in this closed beta , in any case. And it will last from today, June 25, until July 11.
