When is the next Formula 1 race? – Appointment, date, place

In Bahrain, the Formula 1 drivers drove the first grand prize of the new season on Sunday evening. The drivers now have a two-week break before the next race of the season in Imola, Italy.

The drivers will be out on the “Autodrome Enzo e Dino Ferrari” track at the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna on Sunday, April 18th. At 3 p.m. the lights turn green.

Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna on TV and livestream

Sky has secured the exclusive rights for the entire Formula 1 season and therefore shows every race weekend live and in full on the newly launched Sky Sport F1 channel. On the pay TV broadcaster, you can watch every free practice, qualifying and race in the live stream. To do this, however, you need either a SkyGo subscription or a SkyTicket.

Although Sky owns the broadcasting rights, selected races can still be seen on free TV. Thanks to an agreement that the private broadcaster has with Sky , RTL is running four races live on free-to-air television. One of the four races is also the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. The remaining three are:

  • May 9th: Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona
  • September 12th: Italian Grand Prix in Monza
  • November 7th: Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo

At TVNow , RTL’s streaming provider, you can also watch the race in Imola in the live stream. This is chargeable (4.99 euros per month after the end of the trial month).

The ORF is also showing the race in Austria live and in full. The public broadcaster shares the broadcasting rights for the season with ServusTV in the neighboring country. Both providers only take over the Austrian GP. At ORF you also have the opportunity to watch the race in the live stream – namely in the ORF TVthek.
