Shigeru Miyamoto (Sonobecho, Kyoto, 1952) is a true pope of digital entertainment. A Nintendo worker since 1977, in 1980 he was commissioned to design a video game that would revive the declining sales figures in the United States. Donkey Kong was a smash hit.
