Xiaomi 12T Pro: the device that captures MegaMoments

This week the new phone from the Chinese brand, the Xiaomi 12T Pro , arrived in Mexico for pre-sale; a device that stands out for its camera technology, as it is the first of the brand to have a 200 MP camera to offer a more advanced imaging system and high-detail photographic capture.

For this reason, it is not by chance that the slogan is “MegaMoments”, because, according to Carlos Dubon, public relations manager of Xiaomi Mexico, what users are looking for today is to store their life and moments in images.

“The creativity side has changed a lot. You can now enter photography or film contests with your cell phone. The cameras are professional cameras, this has revolutionized the industry and creativity goes beyond taking a picture”, Dubon told Expansión.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro has four cameras: three front and one front. The photography modes are: photo, portrait, night, video, documents and Pro.

The wide-angle camera is 200 MP and one of its attractions is that it includes Xiaomi ProCut and Ultra burst. This will help users to intelligently crop and create high-impact content, as well as offering up to five different image sizes and photo layouts. For example, with just one click you will have five photos in a format to upload to Instagram or another format for Facebook.

On the other hand, this device is also capable of recording 8K videos at full resolution, which makes it a device even for making movies.

The other cameras are an 8MP ultra wide angle, a 2MP macro camera, and a 20MP front camera.

Design and specifications

The dimensions of the phone are 163mm x 76 x 66mm. It weighs 205 grams and comes in three colors: black, silver and blue.

The screen is 6.67-inch AMOLED and has a refresh rate of 120HZ. In addition, it has Dolby Vision, an adaptive reading mode and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The processor is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and it has a Qualcomm GPU.

The device is available in 8GB, with the possibility of expanding it to 128GB or 256GB, or 12GB with the possibility of expanding it to an extra 256GB.

In addition, it has dual sim and is compatible with the 5G network.

Drums

This device has a 5,000mAh battery and 120W HyperCharge technology. According to Dubon, it can be charged to 100% in just 19 minutes and is capable of guaranteeing up to 13.5 hours of screen experience.

Additionally, it also features AdaptiveCharge technology, where it learns users’ daily charging routines to optimize long-term battery health. That is, if your phone has finished charging and is still connected, it will stop receiving power so as not to damage the battery. The phone comes with a charger included.

Availability and price

The Xiaomi 12T Pro costs 21,999 pesos and will be available from October 27 in its 8GB + 256GB version. You can find it in Xiaomi Stores, AT&T and Telcel.

In addition, in the purchase of the device, in any of these sales channels, it will include the new Redmi Pad as a gift.

On the other hand, another of the benefits that users will enjoy is YouTube Premium free of charge for up to three months, with which they will obtain unlimited and ad-free access to more than 80 million songs and live performances, covers and remixes, and a membership exclusive with Google One with 100GB of free cloud storage for a period of six months.
