49 million euros from the Euro Jackpot go to Bavaria

Three people from Germany have won a million dollar amount at the Eurojackpot. By far the largest amount goes to Bavaria.

[Berlin -] The euro jackpot has been cracked: A player from Bavaria has won around 49 million euros. With the winning numbers 2, 14, 18, 23 and 42 and the euro numbers 5 and 10, he or she achieved 49,327,084.70 euros in the drawing on Friday, as announced by Westlotto.

Two single-digit million profits went to the southwest and north: Tipper in Baden-Württemberg and Schleswig-Holstein came to 1,170,614.70 euros each. The chance of cracking the highest class at the Eurojackpot is around 1 in 95 million. [dpa]
