Japan to launch a sex toy into space to investigate its effects on the device

Sex toys in space? It has not been done so far, but a Japanese company for adults aims to find out what the effects of weightlessness are and how the device works during space flights.

'Tenga Rocket', a collaboration between the male masturbation company Tenga and the civilian space flight company Interstellar Technologies Inc., will take off from the Hokkaido spaceport in northern Japan this August , depending on weather conditions, and will reach an altitude of 100 kilometers. On board you will find the TENGA Cup specially designed for this space flight , which will accumulate data on the conditions you experience in space and other popular masturbation covers from the brand.

According to Tenga, the company's closest goal is to be the first sex toy developer to create a masturbation aid specifically designed for use in space. The device would need to be equipped with a vacuum facility that can remove the lubricant and also allow ejaculation without floating the sperm in the microgravity environment, in a similar way to how the 'space toilet' of the International Space Station works.
