Formula 1 disputes this weekend the tenth round of the 2022 course and, after nine tests, the teams are already very aware of their weak points and where they can improve their weapons to achieve the best results.
Many teams arrive with great improvements to the British GP, and this Thursday our photographers have been able to ‘sneak’ into the pitlane to capture the best images of the calm cars, ready for action on Friday.
While the mechanics were preparing the cars at Silverstone, they managed to capture interesting details that we offer you here.

Ahead of the weekend, Alpine had announced a large upgrade package, as manager Pat Fry said: “Everyone at Enstone has worked incredibly hard to create and fit a reasonably large upgrade package to the car and in time for this race.” including a new floor and updated bodywork.”
On Thursday, as you can see in the photo that opens this article, we checked out the new pontoons on Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon’s car for this weekend.
In addition, Red Bull surprised with a new engine cover that allows hot air from the Honda power unit to vent differently. You can also enjoy in the gallery above the images of the improved Williams (only in the car that Alexan Albon will drive), which has been based precisely on the Red Bull.
Ferrari, for its part, has new mirror mounts in the car of Charles Leclerc and in that of a Carlos Sainz who also had to undergo a chassis change after another fuel pump broke. And look at the photos, there are touch-ups in many areas of the car!
Also, you will see that all the teams have decided to alter their brake drums, which you can see very well before mounting the tyres. Take a look, for example, at AlphaTauri or Mercedes.
