Starting from the Azerbaijan GP race and throughout the month of June, the hashtag #essereFerrari that appears on the cars and drivers’ helmets will be in the colors of the rainbow with the aim of raising awareness of diversity and promoting the inclusion of all genders and sexual orientations. With this proposal, the F1 team refers to Pride Month , as a gesture of public support for the group.
In this way, Ferrari follows the initiative of other teams, including Mercedes, which announced last Wednesday that it would compete with a rainbow star in its single-seaters during the two grand prix in June and perhaps also in the first of July.

Diversity and inclusion have long been part of the Ferrari ethos and the entire team is proud to support this initiative, and as can be seen on the protagonists’ kit, the Scuderia’s hashtag, #essereFerrari, is tinted with the colors of the rainbow, a sign that the Maranello team has chosen to show its support for the LGBTQ+ community during Pride month.
Throughout the month, starting with this Sunday’s race, the #essereFerrari hashtag on the cars and drivers’ helmets will be in the colors of the rainbow to celebrate this important moment and raise awareness of diversity and promote the inclusion of all genders and sexual orientations.
In addition to Ferrari and Mercedes, Alpine has also decided to show its support for the group this month, and the rainbow runs along the fin of the engine cover of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon’s single-seater. In addition, the rainbow flag lights and waves at the Enstone headquarters, and the French team promised other “winks” as well as a program to improve inclusion throughout its structure.
