After a 16-minute delay in the scheduled time for the start of the 2022 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, due to the fact that the rain made an appearance in the streets of the Principality much earlier than expected and with much greater intensity older, the single-seaters took to the track for two laps behind the Safety Car to check the condition of the asphalt.

According to forecasts, the rainfall should decrease over the next few minutes, creating an optimal window for the single-seaters of the highest category of motorsport to return to a track that promises to put on a great show this Sunday, May 29.

If the leader has completed more than two laps but less than 25% of the scheduled race distance, the top five finishers will receive points as follows:
