After the blow that Ferrari received at home, where Red Bull dominated, the Maranello team is expected to respond in Miami. The Scuderia, which leads both world championship classifications, had confirmed through its own team manager, Mattia Binotto , that at the fifth round of the season we would see a new unloaded rear wing.
However, while waiting to discover said update, a new front wing has been seen in the garage of the Italian team. In the comparison below this paragraph, you can see the solution used last weekend at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix (on the left) and the version created exclusively for the Miami Grand Prix (right), a Circuit that, despite being urban, will have really high top speeds.

The Scuderia has opted for a somewhat strange solution, mounting a final flap that shows a load that we could say is differentiated: the central part has a greater chord than the Imola wing, while on the two sides the intention to reduce drag to improve airflow and limit car drag.
In the part of the wing closest to the frame, in addition to a reduction in the chord of the profile, a lower incidence can also be seen, while in the external part the intention to increase the out wash effect can be seen, that is, the direction of the flows towards the outside of the front wheel.
The F1-75 is a single-seater that stands out in the slow corners, but is not really brilliant at the end of the straight, where it loses a lot of ground with its main rival, the RB18.
The biggest update package to try to catch up with Red Bull in that respect won’t come until Barcelona, but the Maranello team looks set to try to respond to Milton Keynes from Miami with a series of small aerodynamic changes.
