Hamilton reappears publicly after a month of absence

Almost two months have passed since Lewis Hamilton has not spoken in the media. Since the controversial F1 season finale in Abu Dhabi, the Mercedes driver has made the decision to refrain from communicating with the press and posting on social media.

Hamilton's prolonged media absence forged a mold of rumors that soon spread among the Formula 1 paddock and fans, because the British driver has always been very active on most platforms.

From Mercedes they sent signs of calm in reference to the seven-time world champion, alleging that the driver was mentally dejected after the defeat in the last round of the season.

However, it was this Monday, January 31, when the British pilot was seen for the first time on a communication channel. Lewis, hand in hand with Mercedes and his teammate George Russell, has appeared in a new video congratulating China on their entry into the year. The 30-second video has been posted on Weibo, a Chinese website similar to Twitter.
