The difference is that what attracts them is not having sex in the vehicle, inside or outside of it, but what excites them is the sexualization of the machine , sexual encounters with people are dramatically discarded. All those who suffer from mechaphilia are tremendously attracted (they even have feelings of love) by any device of mechanical origin , whether large, such as an airplane or a helicopter, medium-sized such as a bicycle or a robot, or small, such as a mixer or toaster.
A fetish can be simply described as “the need for an object, body part, or activity for sexual arousal.” And there are always those who just can’t help but take their fetishes from the usual to the downright bizarre and disturbing.
One case that became quite famous was that of Edward Smith, a man whose fetish was precisely cars. He had an exacerbated passion for automobiles. Smith claimed to have had sex with more than 1,000 vehicles . The fetish universe knows no limits.
