The temple of Italian motorcycling will open its doors this weekend in a very special Grand Prix for local riders, where the ‘Ducatista’ spirit will grace the stands of one of the most charismatic tracks on the two- and four-wheel calendar.
Enea Bastianini, Pecco Bagnaia, Luca Marini, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi are some of the names that will try to live up to the challenge in front of the Italian fans, who will bet more than ever on their representatives on the track.
After an incontestable victory for Enea Bastianini at Le Mans, the Rimini driver will direct his efforts to revalidate the leadership that is currently under the power of Fabio Quartararo. The same objective is presented by Pecco Bagnaia , the spearhead par excellence of Borgo Panigale in one of the most special events for the Italian manufacturer.
In a year where the absence of the iconic #46 makes this event a memorable act of farewell and admiration for Valentino Rossi, Luca Marini will fight to get the team to the top of the podium, a goal he hopes to share with his teammate and compatriot, Marco Bezzecchi.
Fabio Di Giannantonio, for his part, will try to follow in the footsteps of his garage mate Enea Bastianini, a reference in the team, in the factory and on the starting grid.
During the weekend, Michele Pirro, representing the local colours, will also be seen in his role as the Italian manufacturer’s wildcard . The test rider will make his debut under the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati reference, wearing the new colors on his prototype.
In this way, Tuscany could be the perfect setting for an exhibition of both local riders and the factory that was born in a humble industrial neighborhood and that today has become a benchmark in the MotoGP World Championship.
