FunDark matter

Dark matter

Its composition remains a mystery to this day.

This enigmatic substance constitutes approximately 25% of the universe , and dark energy, not to be confused with dark matter, around 70% of it. Some observations have indicated the existence of dark matter in the universe, such as the speed at which galaxies rotate, the gravitational lensing of background objects, or how the temperature of hot gas is distributed throughout the galaxies. The current theory is that all galaxies exist within a large dark matter cluster.

An experiment confirms that it has detected dark matter in the surroundings of our planet, but many science experts are skeptical of this claim. What is clear is that at the moment dark matter cannot be observed even with the largest telescope in the world , and it will remain an interrogation for years.
