Bagnaia leads a Warm Up in which Márquez protects himself

The Ducati rider, who this Saturday achieved pole position at the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix, breaking the record for the fastest lap on this circuit (1.46.322), led the last test of the weekend, the Warm Up, in a demonstration that his intentions this Sunday are clear: to go out for his first victory in the queen class, something that has resisted him since he joined the official Bologna home team.

The Italian beat Takaaki Nakagami , a specialist in this type of training, after which Joan Mir , the Suzuki rider, who is also in the group of favorites to say something in the race, finished. Jack Miller , who will start second on the grid, was fourth, beating Aleix Espargaró , Alex Rins and Jorge Martín, another trio of riders who are doing well on this circuit, although the Suzuki rider starts far behind on the grid.

Fabio Quartararo , leader of the World Championship, finished 8th ahead of the surprising Enea Bastianini, in his best weekend since he was in MotoGP.

The top 10 was closed by Marc Márquez , who spent the first half of training in the box, going out on the track to do six laps (most of them were 11) and finish with the tenth best time. Marc has suffered two crashes this weekend and he didn’t want to take too many risks to face the race in the best physical way possible.

Pol Espargaró was 13th, Valentino Rossi 15th and Maverick Viñales , who makes his debut with Aprilia, last (22nd) 2.2 seconds behind Bagnaia. Alex Márquez, who finished 18th, crashed at turn 7, his second of the weekend.
