What are wearables?

The most accurate translation is ” wearable items “, or what is the same, devices that are incorporated into clothing or accessories . Nowadays new technologies are very present in everyday life, it is rare not to see someone with a smartphone or tablet anywhere. Well now imagine them fully integrated into your body.

With these devices we have access to a lot of tools for both leisure and work , not counting, of course, communication tools. We have e-mail, telephone, instant messaging services, photo camera and even MP3 player, GPS incorporated into the same device… what more could you ask for?

Well, you can still give a twist to so much connectivity: take the technology literally on . Wearable technology consists of wearing all these options in clothing or accessories such as watches or necklaces, which are already provided by different devices. The main advantage of wearables is that we do not have to carry them in our hand or in our pocket , but rather that they come directly with us, offering us all the utilities available to them.

Another advantage of this type of innovative devices is that in addition to offering us information about our activity, they also interact with us . If, for example, we exercise, in addition to showing us our heart rate, it will warn us if our rhythm is too high. Another good example is when we use our mobile devices such as GPS, because thanks to wearables it will not be necessary to look at the map shown on the screen, but slight vibrations will inform us where we have to turn.
