After a classification that could not have been tighter, Aleix Espargaró managed to set the best lap of the day and in the history of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, beating Pecco Bagnaia by 31 thousandths and Fabio Quartararo by a little more.
They will be the protagonists who will start tomorrow from the front row at the Catalan Grand Prix, ahead of Johann Zarco, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Jorge Martín, the three occupants of the second row.
