This Sunday, the Portuguese Grand Prix will shape the fifth race of the 21 scheduled by the official MotoGP calendar. During the weekend, the 24 riders on the grid will do their best to get the points that will change the course of the championship with the arrival of the European tour.
One of them is Enea Bastianini, who arrives at the usual track as the provisional leader of the championship. Behind the Gresini rider, the first protagonist on Friday was Marc Márquez, who managed to lead a wet debut on the Portuguese circuit.

The driver from Cervera arrives in Portugal motivated after reappearing on the American circuit in Austin, a track where he achieved a memorable comeback that took him to sixth position on the qualifying sheet. Behind him was Joan Mir. The Suzuki rider has already warned that this weekend could be the time to show his true potential.
In the second round of free practice, it was Pol Espargaró who set the pace on the Portuguese track, ahead, respectively, of Marc Márquez and Andrea Dovizioso.
