The Aprilia rider, second overall in the World Championship, is the absolute protagonist of this week’s MotoGP Podcast. Uri Puigdemont and Germán Garcia Casanova had an extensive and interesting conversation with Aleix Espargaró, in which he analyzes all the current issues of the world championship, his aspirations, his physical preparation, the “peace of mind” that family or rivalry brings him that the riders who are fighting for the title maintain and that contrasts with what riders like Max Biaggi , Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner or Marc Márquez had at the time, and the impact that all this has on the current popularity of the series.
Aleix, in a sincere conversation, talks about the ‘good vibes’ that predominate among the riders on the current MotoGP grid, but at the same time warns that this tranquility is in danger of ending when it intensifies, in the final part of the season, the fight for the title, advancing that they are going to “fly sparks”.

Especially interesting is the Catalan rider’s opinion on KTM’s policy regarding the contracts with its riders, as well as the suffering that his brother Pol Espargaró has undergone during these two seasons at Repsol Honda, where, he assures, they use the pilots “like light bulbs, when one burns out they change it and it’s out”.
The Aprilia rider, who is at his best since he arrived at the World Championship, also values the imminent signing of Raúl Fernández for the satellite formation of Noale’s house. “He has a lot of talent and if he is in an environment where they take care of him and that is mentally stable, he will give them a lot,” he values.
