At the beginning of autumn, deer and other deer begin to emit hoarse howls during the day and at night as a sexual claim.
This authentic sound show is known as bellowing.
In this way, male specimens warn potential competitors where their territory is and, by the power of their voice, they make them notice their size and determination. Thus, for example, the deer protects its harem, which is made up of females of different ages and which it closely watches, to check when they come into heat.
Unfortunately, the bellowing also helps poachers in our forests to locate animals.
