If you want a chance to do something really different in Florida, try a favorite of many Floridians: the casino game. The Seminole tribe opened their first high-stakes gambling establishment in December 1979. Today, they have four casinos in different locations in West Central and South Florida. His close relatives, the Miccosukee, have operated a casino in Miami for a couple of decades.
If you want to plan your vacation around gambling, each Seminole location offers packages that include lodging, meals, bingo sessions, and discounts for arcade machines. The Miccosukee Casino is operated from its own resort-style hotel that also offers vacation packages.
