Directions to the Racetrack and Casino Aqueduct

Racetrack Aqueduct and its casino are easily accessible by car from anywhere else in New York City or from Long Island. It is located in South Ozone Park, near the Belt Parkway and Van Wyck in the southern part of Queens. Aqueduct is the only video slot and racing game facility in New York City.

The address is 110-00 Rockaway Blvd, South Ozone Park, NY 11420. The intersection is Rockaway Blvd and 110th Street. Most GPS devices would accept “Queens” instead of South Ozone Park. Take a look at a map of Aqueduct Racetrack.

Driving to the aqueduct

From Van Wyck Highway: Exit 3, Linden Blvd. and follow signs to continue. They are 22 or more short blocks.

From Belt Parkway: Exit 19 East. Exit 18-B westbound (Lefferts Blvd.). Then follow the prompts to continue.

From the rockaways and central Queens: The easiest way is Woodhaven Blvd / Cross Bay Blvd. Follow it to Rockaway Blvd. Turn east and continue to 110th St.

From Manhattan: Take the Midtown Tunnel to LIE-East (or the Triborough Bridge to Grand Central) to Van Wyck South. Then take exit # 3 Linden Blvd. Turn right on Linden and follow signs to continue.

From Brooklyn: The easiest way from Brooklyn is to follow the Belt Parkway east to Exit 19. You can avoid the highways by taking Atlantic Avenue east to Rockaway Boulevard. Turn right on Rockaway and go to 110th St.

From Long Island: going to the aqueduct, Long Islanders would follow the same directions as going to JFK airport. Take Cross Island Parkway south to Belt Parking west. Exit exit 18-B and follow the signs to continue. From South State Parkway West, continue until it becomes the Belt Parkway. Exit exit 18-B and follow the signs to continue.

Directions from Upstate, New England, and New Jersey

Best option: Head south from I-95 to the Throgs Neck Bridge. Follow Cross Island Parkway South, then Belt Parkway West to Exit 18-B.

You could take the Whitestone bridge. Follow signs to Van Wyck Highway South. Continue to Exit 3. Whitestone is generally more congested than Throgs Neck, and Van Wyck is one of the worst roads in New York.

Coming from Northern New Jersey, take the George Washington Bridge and follow signs from Upstate and New England across the Throgs Neck Bridge.

From southern New Jersey, take the Goethals Bridge to Staten Island and the Verrazano to Brooklyn. Continue on the Belt Parkway east to Exit 19.

Metro and buses

Take the A subway to Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue. Or take the A train northbound from the Rockaways to Aqueduct Racetrack Station. The metro stops at this station only on race days, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Courtesy bus service is available at the entrance gate from the metro. Buses Q7, Q11, Q37, Q41 will take you there too.
