Parking at JFK airport doesn’t have to be a headache, but during busy travel times, your best option is public transportation. Here are your parking options.
Short Term JFK Parking
You can reserve a parking spot through the airport website. If you have an E-ZPass Plus, you can use it to pay your parking fees when you leave.
JetBlue parking at JFK
JetBlue’s main terminal at JFK is Terminal 5 (follow the yellow signs at the airport). There is parking in the immediately adjacent short-term lot. The same is true for Terminal 4, from where some of JetBlue’s international flights arrive.
Long Term JFK Parking
There are long-term parking garages further away from the terminals at Lefferts Boulevard and Howard Beach. Once you park, take a free shuttle bus that runs through the lots or walk to the nearest station for the AirTrain shuttle. AirTrain is free from Lefferts Boulevard and connects to all terminals. (You have to pay from Howard Beach).
Long-term parking lots A and B are on Lefferts Boulevard, and parking lot C is on Howard Beach. Rates are $ 18 for 24 hours.
To get to the long-term parking lots, follow these directions to get to JFK airport and then look for signs that direct you to the lots.
When picking up passengers at JFK, is it better to park or just pull up to the curb?
collected at JFK
If you are a stranger or have to pick up children or someone in a wheelchair, then it would be best to park in the short-term parking lot that is adjacent to each terminal, walk to the terminal, and meet your passengers at baggage claim.
There is also Kiss and Fly at the Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain station. You can avoid the hassle and traffic in the terminal by dropping off your passengers at the Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain station. They can then take the free AirTrain shuttle service to their airline terminal.
