Some of Brooklyn’s public tennis facilities, but not all courts , offer instruction.

Two neighborhoods, Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst have the majority of Brooklyn’s public tennis facilities that offer instruction. The following public tennis courts offer lessons, by appointment and for a fee:

  • Dyker Beach Park in Bensonhurst
  • John J. Carty Park at Bay Ridge
  • McKinley Park at Bay Ridge
  • Leif Ericson Park at Bay Ridge
  • McCarren Park, located between Williamsburg and Greenpoint
  • Prospect Park Tennis Center, near Park Slope, Prospect Park South and Windsor Terrace
