After the stream of criticism aroused by the space required by Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone, it was to be expected that the hare would also end up jumping with Black Ops Cold War after the publication of a surprising image.
In it you could see the supposed back part of the PS5 cover of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and the internet lit its torches and sharpened its pitchforks after considering a minimum of 285 GB of disk space in it.
With the source of that image having withdrawn it, Activision stepped forward to close the debate by announcing the required disk space to pre-load Black Ops Cold War on each platform. To the figures that were published in the PC requirements, the following are added:
- PS4: 95GB
- PS5: 133GB
- Xbox One: 93GB
- Xbox Series X | S: 136GB
It is also confirmed that, as was the case in Modern Warfare and in the case of PC, console players will be able to decide which part of the game to keep or uninstall from the disk to save space, citing the campaign and the zombie mode.
The question remains whether, for example, you can maintain the zombies mode without having multiplayer and, more importantly, if those figures are taking into account the weight of Warzone or is it postulated as an additional download to the base game.
